This one is quite hard to prefix. There’s not much else I can say to prepare you guys for this, so here goes. This year I’ve been dealing with something in secret, and that is the fact that a few months ago I underwent treatment for marginal zone lymphoma.
Marginal zone lymphoma is an uncommon form of cancer. It has a pretty good prognosis, but even so, this was naturally a pretty scary time for me, especially in light of some health issues I had earlier in my life.
It wasn’t always so easy to choose positivity in the face of everything, and so I wanted to keep things quiet until it was all finished. Now that it’s over, I can finally share it with you. I hope my story gives some encouragement to anybody else going through a similar time.
This is much easier to talk about than to write about, so I’ve filmed the vlog above detailing how it all unfolded for me.
Now I would like to hear from you. Have you gone through an experience with cancer, or has anybody you know had to deal with it? Do you have any tips for staying positive? Are there any lifestyle choices you made to support your body in healing from or preventing cancer?
